Christy’s love for the arts began as a child. That love later evolved into a dedicated pursuit of art history, culminating in a degree from St. Catherine University. This academic foundation was further enriched by hands-on experience gained through several internships at Minneapolis galleries, setting the stage for her career in the arts.

Her career took a leap with her acceptance into FAD (Fostering Arts and Design) in Barcelona, Spain, a prestigious institution renowned in the global arts scene. This international exposure broadened her perspective and solidified her desire to work in the arts.

Christy's extensive local network and ties to the art community enabled her to curate countless art shows, collaborating closely with a diverse array of local artists. This involvement not only showcased her curatorial skills but also highlighted her dedication to promoting and nurturing artistic talent within her community.

As the role of Curator, Christy is poised to bring her wealth of experience, knowledge, and infectious enthusiasm to the Kickernick Gallery.
